When you use the Forest Atlas application, we collect basic account information such as your email address, along with the photos you submit for species identification and any locations you choose to save to your private map.
Locations you pin to your foraging map are stored so they are available to you across your devices, and are never shared with other users or third parties, and never sold.
With your permission, Forest Atlas accesses your camera to identify mushroom species. Photos are processed to return an identification result and are used solely for that purpose.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers (such as our backend host and AI processing partners) only as necessary to provide our services.
In compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store guidelines, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data. To initiate an account deletion, please send an email to support@digital-app-consulting.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and permanently remove your data within 30 days.
